"Landscape Concepts was started in 2000 by myself, Juli Neubarth, and my husband Bruce. The first year we ran the business from our home, using our son's bedroom as an office (thanks, Brent!). Our building along Highway 15 North in Hutchinson went up during the summer and fall of 2001 (a very wet year). We opened the doors of our new building in April of 2002, and we've been expanding and growing ever since."

"I had worked hard for various landscapers and garden centers, and I always knew that I wanted to run my own landscaping company. A partnership in the 1990's gave me the confidence and experience to go out on my own."

"I wanted this landscaping company to be professional, high quality and dependable. We invested a lot of money to have the trucks painted to match the colors of the company and to get uniforms for the employees in matching colors. I wanted to make sure that when people see burgundy and tan, they immediately think of Landscape
Concepts. And when they see an unusual landscaping project, I again want them to think Landscape Concepts. So if they have a particularly challenging project of their own, they will immediately think of Landscape Concepts!"
